Our Mission at Owls Nest 

At Owl’s Nest Learning Hub, we believe strong families help build strong communities. Our work is centered around creating opportunities for children, youth, and families to learn, connect, grow, and access meaningful support.

Through community programming, educational opportunities, family-centered activities, and partnerships with local organizations, we’re building a space where families feel welcomed and supported.

In July 2025, Owl’s Nest Learning Hub was awarded funding through the Juvenile Justice Advisory Council (JJAC) to expand our work with young people in the community. Through our programming, we have since served approximately 220 children and youth, providing opportunities for positive engagement, skill-building, mentorship, and meaningful community connections.

We remain committed to creating accessible programs that strengthen families, empower young people, and help our community thrive.

 Owl’s Nest Learning Hub is currently seeking four additional board members who are passionate about supporting children, youth, and families and want to play an active role in strengthening our community.

 We are especially interested in individuals who bring experience or expertise in marketing and networking, working with youth, or collaborating with community organizations and agencies.

Important Disclosure 

Owls Nest Learning Hub is not a school or a licensed childcare center.

• If a participant under 18 is working toward a high school diploma, Maryland state law requires that their parent or legal guardian provide home instruction.

• Children under 12 may not attend any program longer than 2 hours without a parent or guardian present.
