Empowering Teens to Tell Stories That Inspire
Give your teen the opportunity to step behind (and in front of) the camera in this one-of-a-kind creative arts and media program! TV Productions: Lights, Camera, Purpose! is a 12-week hands-on course designed for homeschool students and enrichment learners ages 13–17 who are ready to turn their imagination into impact.
Each week, students will learn the full production process — from concept to camera — as they plan, write, act, film, and edit their very own 20-minute educational TV show for children in Delmarva. Together, they’ll explore how television can educate, entertain, and uplift through storytelling that makes a difference.
Students will bring their ideas to life through:
Story development and scriptwriting
Scene planning and storyboarding
Acting, voiceover, and on-camera performance
Camera operation and video editing basics
Integrating music, puppetry, and animation
The final show will be featured locally and shared with families across the region — giving participants a real-world creative accomplishment to celebrate!
Builds confidence, communication, and collaboration
